Hi! On the internet it says that the Roland VA-76 V-Arranger has like 3700 sounds on it. I just have the basics one. Piano, brass, strings, guitar, organ, reed, pipe and all that..what about the rest? what about the effects.. ? where is all that stuff ??? Please help me and assist me ! I own it and i'm pissed

I remember when the VA-76 came out that there was a mentioning of that.
I don't remember whether they were in some weired hidden submenu or extra sonds on an external storage device.

What I do remember was that most sounds are taken from older boards for those who wanted to keep them.
Therefore not as good as the newer VA-76 sounds.

I know that George Kay wrote about it once.
Maybe he'll answer you when he is back at the store on monday.

there are 4 banks[groups] of sounds..

1/ sc55

2/ g800

3/ g1000

4/ Va

It could be that they're including 480XG and 128GM sounds hidden somewhere for playback of MIDI files.

Btw, pls don't capitalize your headings!

The (4) groups are called "maps". You have to access them from the menu page. There are indeed that many sounds IN the VA and a lot of nice ones

In the UK this would be taken to mean you're drunk!

With G 70 you have to activate an extended sound mode. In factor settings there is only a "best selection" activated.
