Donny making lots of progress and getting use to the OS. Love the keyboard action, the live sound, the bossa novas. It's a pleasure to play as a piano and not an arranger. As Fran mentioned to me a few weeks ago it's got the finder feature for locating UPGs, styles and songs, makes navigating much easier than I had anticipated. In fact, that's one of the features I really like about this board you can call up a upg in no time. At some point in the near future I will post a demo or 2.

If had to write up a balance sheet with the pros and cons of the G70 with the Tyros each board comes in a tie. I was going to sell the T2 or the G70, but I may keep both possibly sell the T2 and pick up a S900. I still like Yamaha but found a new friend in Roland's G70 Stay tuned.

Well, thanks for the history lesson, Bebop! Yours sounds like an exciting career (I was born too late for my first love... big bands!)

But without the explanation, it was reasonable to suggest that, like 99% of all other demos posted, it might be posted in audio form. If you had SAID that you would soon post it in audio form, that would have removed the confusion... And add in the fact that you posted it to roland-arranger.com's AUDIO forum, not their MIDI forum, that was also an indicator (to someone that didn't know your history!) that perhaps you didn't know the difference (as some here don't!).

My apologies for coming to the wrong conclusion from the facts presented. I'll know better next time.

the title of the forum I posted in states:
"Renditions
In this board you can post topics attaching your own recorded renditions hereby demonstrating your work for the other User Club members."
It does not say anything about MIDI files, so I posted my Rendition which I interpret as an original song.
I did not encounter any restrictions on format.
You see, I am American, not Danish or British. I guess my vocabulary understanding must be limited to American phrasology.
thank you for your response.

thank you guys for your good words. You made this old Fxxx feel good once again.
when you get to my age, music is about what you have left to feed your ego and justify your cost.
Best to all you fine people.
say whatever happened to CLIFF? I haven't seen him around in a long time.
Good to see you Scotty When you coming down to visit or jam or both
It sure would be good to have another Jam and see each other again.

Bebop, another Jam at your place would be a lot of fun Until then, knowing that you & Jann enjoy taking your motorhome down the Central California Coast, want to let you know that I'll be performing a (now annual) concert for the "Central Coast Organ & Keyboard Club" down in Avila Beach, CA , on:

Sunday, October 14th, 2007,

so invite you (and any others here as well) to attend my Arranger Keyboard Concert (on Yamaha Tyros2) there. Email me for details.

The adjacent Forum is labeled MIDI files (always has been). Not American enough to understand?

I don't know if they have been relabeled because of this, or whether they always said this, but the Renditions Forum header says this;

"In this board you can post topics attaching your own recorded renditions (MP3's or other audio formats) hereby demonstrating your work for the other User Club members."

The adjacent forum is labeled 'MIDI Files" and says this;

"In this board you can post topics attaching your own songs/midi files hereby sharing your songs with the other User Club members."

Now, are you done biting my head off for natural mistakes (on BOTH our parts), or do we need to continue this? I already apologized for not knowing your history...

A link to an MP3 would be cool so us Yammie people can have a listen.

HI IAN,
I will put up a MP3 or WMA as soon as I can find time to do it. Really busy right now or it would have been a MP3 to start with.
