Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can help. I gave a friend a 15 pin connector to connect to a sound card through it's Midi / Joystick Port.
It has 2 5 pin din connectors on one end and the 15 pin on the other.

Just wondering what sort of driver he requires & will it work with an xp computer.

best wishes
Rikki

The drivers are already in his computer. All he has to do is plug in the cable to his sound card, then plug the other ends into his keyboard. Then click on "Sounds/Multi-media" and select the "Audio" tab, then go to the bottom of the box and select MP401 or what ever midi driver is associated with his computer's midi software. It's that easy.

Cheers,

Gary

Thank you so much Gary,
I haven't had to use a midi cable like this for years. My keyboards have usb and serial serial connections and I couldn't for the life of me remember how this type of cable worked.

thanks again
