Well OK, it's not brand new. It's a year old, but it looks like new and plays like new. I love the key feel of this board! Hey now I know what you 9000 Pro owners have been raving about all along. I know it's not a Tyros but in my opinion it still has a lot going for it. This'll do for the next couple years or so. Meanwhile I'll wait for the T-Pro or whatever Yamaha will cook up next.

Great board with all of the toys. Excellent key feel, I think it sounds just as good as Tyros.
Good luck with it.

9000Pro,I agree that the key feel is very good & should have been of this quality on the Tyros at the price they are asking. I have been saying for a while that to change my 9000Pro for a Tyros would in part be a downgrade.
A Yamaha demonstrator stated to me that they are not planning to bring out a 76 note Tyros, so the 9000Pro should be in demand when the Tyros fever has died.

Evangelic,
Congrats! And welcome to the big boys toys club. The 9k and 9k pro are both great boards. If you get some stuff recorded and up let me know so I can have a listen.

Hi Evan,
Congrats on your purchase. You're right. The 9000PRO is a great board. Even after 18 months I am still on my honeymoon.

Keep us posted on how you're going.

Congrats!

Yeah... I'm still in love with my psr9000 that I picked up for $1699 over a year ago (floor model Mar's Music) ...and I will wait on tyro's ... since I'm now starting to use Computer software: Acid Pro 4, sonar 2, Propellerhead Reason 2,Ejay Dance 5 to add to Making Music CD's!

I don't gig out anymore ... so the psr9000 stays in my studio! ... next to my computer! (computer facing forward and Psr9000 to my Right!

My Xbox to the Left! with TV Screen Next to Monitor!

My command Chair in the middle of Music and Gaming Paradise!

Have Fun and Enjoy your 9000 PRO!!!!

Ev : Congrats on the 9000 PRO it is a great board.
The 14th of this month it will be the 2nd Anniversary
for me & my PRO & I'm still in Love with her.
I hope you have as much fun with your PRO as I have
with mine.
I also feel that the Tyros as it is would be a downgrade
for me.
Enjoying the 9000 PRO
Denny
