YamahaStyles wrote a message at Yahoo Yamaha Styles Group
& said they made a few mistakes on there last message, first
gave the wrong link, & a couple of other mistakes namely, prices.
Ha Ha wonder what the next price is going to be?
They said the Built in styles part was done but would be back
up in a few hours.

I've purchased the newest version of EMC, called Styleworks 2000. It does NOT convert Technics 6000/6500 styles. It also does NOT convert Korg pa80 styles. On top of that, the Style Editor functions DO NOT WORK. Apparently, Klaus is still trying to get that function ready. He said it should be done in a few weeks. I would recommend that anyone considering EMC be fully aware of these facts. You may wish to hold onto your old versions instead.

Hi Tom: So then (other than bugs), WHAT new features/enhancements does StyleWorks 2000 offer over the previous version?

It sounds like I'm going to be sticking to my current version 1.6 (V 2.68) of StyleWorks Universal for now. - Scott

None that I can see, yet. And it isn't any more stable, either. Oh wait, the MIDI to style functions have been improved. But I don't use that at all.

Tom: Just curious 'how' the "midi to style" feature has been improved?

Thanks, - Scott

Why not download a demoversion at EMC's
website
http://www.emc-musicsoftware.de/

to see the differences?
But as already said here, all functions don't
look like they are ready yet.
A nice feature is the drag and drop option to
replace the variations etc.
