You can contact me or Scott for info on how it may still be possible to find the styles on the internet.

Eric B.....The styles may be downloaded from Yamaha,,,but have noticed the very high price. Who is going to pay that sort of money $10 US or £5 UK for just one style.

It's $10 per batch not per style, and that is reasonable.

In the UK the Session Styles as they are called, are sold on a floppy containing 8 styles at £40 pounds .
This works out at £5 per style.

Hi Don,

Thanks for the offer, but I do have those styles. I got them when it was still possible.

I posted the site, because I thought it's at least a start (from Yamaha)
We'll see.

A little off topic, but are you aware that you can easily make the built-in styles sound a lot different from the original (in PSR2000 and others).

I'm not speaking about the Style Creator, but simply replacing part-voices (and even drumkit) by using the Mixing Console (Style Part), or using the Channel On/Of button.

And further more, you can save these changes/settings in registration memory, for easy recalling!

jumped from $9.99 to $49.99.
What a joke that is !!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure everyone will be rushing to get there order in (NOT)
Yamaha is sure on a roll, they just might
hit bottom one of these day's.
If they haven't already

Oh come on, Yamaha!!!

Yesterday, all these groups of styles were going for $9.99. A bunch of us from the Yamaha-PSR-styles group even commented that was a pretty reasonable price.

Today, the shoot up to $50!!! Give us a break, Yamaha. I guess you are trying to drive everyone back to exchanging them among themselves!

On the Subject of collecting MORE styles: Other than about 10 jazz & latin styles I imported from the Technics KN5000, and customized to included bass & drum (brush) patterns parts only, I now only use about 8 CVP209 & other PSR keyboards when performing on my PSR2000. The majority of the styles I use for my core repetoire of approx 460 songs are all 'internal' to the PSR2000. Over time I've come to realize that it's better (for me) to 'work out the box' and instead, focus more on continuing to improve 'live' keyboard performance: improving chops and vocal delivery. The PSR2000's styles may not have the most flash & 'in your face' pizzaz out there, but they certainly sound great at enhancing (rhythm section) live performance, because they do not 'get in the way' of us, the featured 'live' solo entertainer. Collecting styles can be fun, much like stamp collecting, but after having amasted a huge collection of thousands of arranger styles, I now find that 95% of the styles I 'actually use' (when performing) are the ones 'internal' to the PSR2000 keyboard. I've now shifted my arranger kb priorities to what's most important to me: 'live' arranger KB performance.

So before you shell out $50 bucks for more styles, try to utilize the styles you already have in your kb first. Of course, if you get those CVP209 & other PSR styles (for FREE), that's another story , but that takes away from the point 'I"m trying to make here :

A large part which affects 'how well' a style 'works' with a specific song has to do with 'how' you play the keyboard when you select a given style. REMEMBER: Each style you select will require that you also play the keyboard 'live' (melody, comping, fills, soloing) in the appropriate groove which 'fits' that style.
