Hello everybody!
I am new on this forum, but I have read
since about one year almost all of your posts.
I would like to know if somebody in this forum still owns an EX-7 Yamaha work station
and what you think about its quality.I play
this instrument for some years.

I used to own the EX-7.. That was one hell of nice synth. It had great sounds, good action, nice sequencer and sampler, 3 wheels and a ribbon controller, easy to use pattern sequencer, good voice editing, and many other things.. Where it lacked was several standard voices like harmonica, cellos, and so forth. I don't know why Yamaha left those off. You could only get them by downloading the GM set, and even those weren't that great.. I think it came out in 1998. One great feature it had was independent track loop settings.. When recording patterns all your tracks could have a different loop point. I sold mine some time ago.....
