i know it sounds silly, especially to roland users, but let me understand corectly: the drum track and percution track are blend togheter ina style?
i mean, if you want to mute the drums, you mute the percution too? couldn t i just mute the drums and let percution play? i am talking about performing live.
reading the g70 manual i relized i might not be able to play only percution, as yamaha or korg let me play...
and further more, if that is the case, when i edit a style, can i separate the percution from drums into a different track?
tnx

Hi,
I just checked my emc style conversion software, it only shows 1 drum track for roland wheras yammie , ketron & some others show 2.
1 drum & 1 percussion.
I don't actually own a roland so I'm not 100% sure.
best wishes
Rikki

In the Style Makeup Tools on the G70, there is a mute button for either percussion OR drums. It's a little deeper into the OS than I like, but it can be done. You can then save that edit as a 'frozen' or 'unfrozen' edit if you need the style permanently this way. (unfrozen is better, because it allows you to switch the percussion back on later if you wish.....)

i see... but then there's no chance i mute on-fly only drums/ only percussion, as i can mute bass, guitar track, piano track, etc.
is just too bad, i liked alot being able to do that with my pa50. i used to assign percussion off/on to one of the multipads and voila!
ok, do you know, is there a chance that e60 would be different in this respect?
