Ok, I've tried everything and searched the forum. No Luck.

When editing patterns, I am trying to change just the Bass line by going to Edit Pattern/Record.

Changing from Play to Record, I start the synth and play my new Bass line.

When playing back the pattern, I can hear my new bass line, but the original bass line is still there!

The manual says that recording a new track erases the original track, but on mine it refuses to be replaced.

Any ideas please?

Calypso,

From the RECORD screen of Pattern Edit, press and hold CLEAR (F10). From here, you can either;

* press the exact bass note from the keyboard that you want to erase.
OR
* Press GLOBAL (F5).

This holds true for all tracks currently selected.

Thanks,
AJ
