Take a listen and let me know what you think (If you have the time) I know I wish I could afford the new Tyros 2 then this would really be cool... Anyway... I'll give it one more shot for the original folks...

I don't get the meaning of the rest of the post about the old timers etc

I am writing this as I am listening to the song...writing as it comes to the mind, like taking notes.

"Different" voice. I like it, but give me some time to get used to. Sometimes out of tune? It needs a little "polishing" but stands out very well, sounds "live" and unprocessed, but in a good way.

I like the melody, please post the lyrics, english is not my first language.

End result: I like it, I'll probably like it more after a couple of times.
Theodore

Very mellow DJ!
I think this is most definately one of your best to date. Love the guitar 'cascade' just before the musical break/instrumental bit.

I can see where Fran gets the 'Rod Stewart' thing from (having just been watching him on TV performing 'Blue Skies'.) You can't win though can you pal? .... Sting, Rod I just prefer DJ

Nice work. Have not been around much for a while but this was nice to come back to. Keep it up.
Best wishes
Tony

You know, I've been lurking here for awhile since I sold my XD3 - kind of felt a bit out of the loop being on an Arranger forum without an Arranger!

Had to come out of lurking to tell you how much I liked your song! I just listened to The Next Day and it is without a doubt your best. I always enjoyed your voice but it often seemed like you were straining or stressing to get the sounds out and it would make me somewhat uncomfortable. Well, that is all gone now! I don't know what you did but that was just awesome.

I look forward to hearing more of your work. I really like your compositions and the sound of your voice.

Great job!!!!!!!

Tommy

Honestly, listening to your song I immediatly was taken back to a sort of Eagles
"HOTEL CALIFORNIA" type sound & song structure.
with "STING" as the lead singer.............
I enjoyed the lyrical content also.
Thankyou for sharing.
