Would it be possible to connect a home cinema kit to my technics kn6500.
A home cinema kit consists off a digital tuner and 6 speakers ( 80w).
If it works it is much cheaper than a amplifier for my keyboard.

Thanks,
ALain

If there are any line input connections at your home
cinema equipment,(or aux) you can wire up from
the outputs at the keyboard.
Just the same way as you may use the stereo
at home.

Alain,

Yes you can do it. You need 2 cables, 1/4 inch phono jack to RCA jack. If you can not find this cable, you can use a RCA to RCA cable (video cable) and get 1/4" to RCA adapters.

Be carefull though, the output signal of a keyboard can be of a much higher level then a stereo component. Make sure you keep the volume on the keyboard down. Also even on low volume, the dynamic range of a keyboard can be very big, be carefull not to damage your speakers.
