I own a Kn7000 and Tyros 2 and want to put them on the same stand with the tyros on the lower and the Kn7000 on the upper. I usually sit down to play. I have seen this stand available to Europe via Ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=011&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=320046279138&rd=1&rd=1#ebayphotohosting

Has anyone got any feedback on this stand or could suggest a good double keyboard stand.
Cheers
Carol

Also consider the KST2 + KST2C from BCK http://www.bck.co.uk particularly if you don’t like the bounce of normal stands.
Hope this helps

Carol,

I have the apex from Ultimate Support. http://www.ultimatesupport.com/s.nl/it.A/id.227/.f?sc=14&category=44 . It appears to be a little more solid then the one you found on ebay. I would think that the small diameter poles would sway or shake under heavy playing. I have been very pleased with the apex, but I stand when performing. I really don't think either stand will give you comfortable leg room when sitting.

I generally use the WS550 from QuikLok http://www.tam-srl.it/sottocategoria.php3?id=10 It has every imaginable accessory for holding most anything, mic, sheet music, laptop pc, etc.. It is very stable and offers a lot of leg room. Check with a dealer about avaiability as I had heard rumors about the company and am unsure of it's current disposition

Another option would be the V-Stand from Ultimate Support. The v shape of the bottom of the stand should allow room for the foot pedals. Though I have never used one. http://www.ultimatesupport.com/s.nl/it.A/id.2606/.f?sc=14&category=43

I have not mentioned any of the X stands, though many are available, as I am simply not a fan of their design. I have had 3 or 4 of them over the years and perfer the other designs above

Richard

Thank you Bill, Richard & DNJ for all your input. I shall trawl the internet for suggested stands.

I used the Ultimate Support V-stand with second tier and mic adapter (although it's the Roland version, they are identical) yesterday for the first time. It is stable and versatile. However with the second tier attached, it doesn't fold up as it does without the tier. You can of course detach the tier and mic holder but that does take three or four minutes and then you have to carry them individually.
Great concept. They got very close to getting it right! If you don't move around a lot, or if your vehicle has room to leave it together, it's great.
I think it's fairly expensive, but I didn't buy it, HankB did!
