hi all,a friend of mine was asking about a keyboard with no speakers that he can play through his pc,i think he is after something along the cheaper lines ,ok any ideas, and prices, mike

Sounds like he wants a controller keyboard. Controllers are relatively inexpensive.
Most keyboards have MIDI, so any inexpensive keyboard that is MIDI compatible (even ones with speakers) would do the trick. I assume he will use softsynths to create the "voices"?

I still like my handy little Creative Labs Prodikeys. It's a toy for sure but a useful one. Lists for $99 but can be found cheaper. Comes with Sound Blaster Live! soundcard.

Oh BTW: it comes with some arranger software! Don't get too excited - the software is for kids.
