I just joint this wonderful forum and Iam
glad that I did.
I had the sd-1 for some-time now and Iam happy with it.However Iam facing some problems ,like some of you did.After installing the new OS and updating the sounds,I still see the old sounds appear when Iam in the pattern edit!!!.Iam not sure why this happens,maybe Iam missing something.Please help anyone if you have any ideas or solutions.Thank you

In terms of sound, there are no totally new sounds implimented with OS20 so you should not see any new sounds - even in Pattern Edit mode. OS20's FIRM0001.SND file 'adjusts' existing sounds and EQ settings for bass and percussion sounds. Hence, the current voices (names, appearance/format etc) will/should not change ~ just the voice content (quality) should be better.

Hi AJ! thank you for your feedback.what made me ask the question ,is that for example,the sd-1 had four pages under guitar and after the update there are only three? the same is true for the other sounds
so if Iam in the pattern edit,let us say and I want to use the better modified guitar sound in chord 1 ,I cannot because I only get the choice from one of the four pages I had before,without being able to choose any of the better quality guitar sounds that exist in one the three pages I have after the update!!. I hope this explains my point of view.Looking forward for another reply.thanks again
