Hi Good people,

Need another bit of information. What kind of pedal(s) should I use on 3000. I have an FC-4 I picked up for the normal sustain pedal, but what about the other one?? FC-5, FC-7, etc.
Ideas please.

Tom

Tom,

Any momentary switched pedal will work.

The other jack will accept either a continuous controller pedal or a momentary switch. Do you need a volume/expression feature, or vocal on/off ... that'll halp make your decision.

Well, I guess I'd have to say a vocal on/off pedal would pre-empt the an expression pedal, eh?

Tom,

If you need a third pedal there are two options for a midi sustain footswitch.

Midi solutions sells a midi footswitch controller. There is a fellow named Tom Scarff in Ireland who sells a midi sustain unit. Scott Yee uses a Midi Solutions unit to get a fourth pedal into his Tyros. I use a unit made by this fellow Tom Scarff to get a third footswitch into my PSR3000.

Tomscarff.tripod.com. You can find him there.
