Hi Guys,
just wondering how Plugsound's Keyboards module works.

AJ's mentioned it a couple of times.

Is it something I'd use as a lead voice?
Can I use it in my Forte/Soundfont/OMB setup.

Is it along the lines of Superquartet ie a stand alone unit.

I tried to find some info, but couldn't find much.

Plugsounds Keyboard collection is a software sample module that works as a VST, DXi, and Rtas plugin. Forte hosts Vst plugins I believe ? If so than you would open it there. There is no standalone capability.

It would be pretty much for use as a lead voice, as there is no midi patch / bank change recognition. I use it because the pianos sound very nice to me. You know how subjective sounds are though...

thank you, I'll do some checking out. I used the wrong term " stand alone". What I was hoping was that it worked with "forte", so looks like it could be suitable for me. Thank you for the link.

Yeh, we certainly found out how subjective piano sounds are on one of the other posts. haahaa

I downloaded the demo version an I've got it up in Forte.

Just wondering AJ, did you buy yours & download online , because buying online & getting it posted from the USA is not worth it. I may be better off buying locally.

Bought mine locally Rikki. The Plugsound box set ( all six modules ) runs around 300 Usd or so. Individual modules can be had for about 90 Usd or so.
