Today I met with a product specialist from CK to discuss the version 2 update procedure. He has told me that we will schedule a day at my store to update those models of VA7's I have customers wishing to update. Please, if you bought a VA7 from me and need the update please get in touch with me.
Also, he informed me that my new VA3's which will be coming in next week will include a new turbo disk which will optimize the DBEAM and there will be about 100 pop songs loaded from the floppy disk included with popular names of songs (a form of data base).
Again for all interested, the price of the VA7 is at it's lowest ever and so is the VA3. The VA76 is the new model (although we've known about it here in the US for a long time now) and will be available shortly in my store.

George,

I just called in your store today and someone working there told me that there were still no news from Roland for V2.
Can you give me more details please.
Regards,
Claude

It's not that there is no news, it's that I'm not sure of a date when the Version 2's will be available. I couldn't speak with the right person at NAMM who would know the answer. I'll try to find out this week and get back to you.

Thanks for your time and effort George ! I know that you've spoken to Roland quite a few times about this...

Hopefully our buddies from Roland US are reading this post

George....I have mentioned this before, but it amazes me that you are still waiting for VA7 Version 2 OS. We have had it here in the UK since last May 2001.
By the time you get it in the USA there will be another a new Roland model available POSSIBLY ? Smile!!!

Best wishes Graham UK
