Hi,
i've a very bad problem. On my VA76 the Upper Voices are out of tune. The tuning is -10 Cent. But surprisingly when i switch off the pitch bender (in the control screen from Auto to OFF) the tuning is ok.

i've had this problem the first time two weeks ago, but somehow (don't know how)i could set it back to the right tuning. But now i'm not able to switch it back.

I think that there must have been some sysex in a midi-file. But i can't imagine, what sort of sysex could do this.

Has someone an idea ?

Is there the possibility to reset the VA76? In the manual there's only described the resetting of the free panel.

I am desperate, because i have several gigs in the next weeks.

Many Greetings !

Volker

Hi Volker,

I think it's your pitch bend. I had it once on my D-20. I cleaned the pitch and it was OK again.

Greetings

Hello, the best way is to update OS. I think the last ver. is 2.0 Before that you'll need to backup your user memory set, style set and disk link set.

Hi Volker!
Did you fix your problem via OS update?
If not, I can tell you a different way. Let me know.

Hello,

many thanks for your comments. Last night i reinstalled the os (Vers. 2.01 with 2.01). But the problem is still there. There should have been a calibration of the pitchbender at the end of the update procedure. But there wasn’t.

I think, this calibration could solve my problem. Does someone know, how to start the calibration manually by pressing a button during the power on ?

Thanks for the answers up to now.

Volker

Switch on the keyboard while holding the 'Orchestrator' button on, and follow the instructions on the screen.
