I own a 2500X, and I don't have a lot of time to experiment with the creation of new sounds and creation of my own drum loops (we're considering purchasing a drum box; however, I'm thinking the 2500x can handle it with some software help). I'm looking for sound recommendations and their associated source for great drum loops, contemporary rock organs, and any other awesome sounds in use and proven. I love the keyboard, I'm just wanting to obtain more ready-made sounds for it.

Thanks.

Have you been to the Kurzweil website? There are thousands of sounds FREE for you to download. You might also want to visit www.sonikmatter.com You'll find lots of Kurzweil users there along with reviews of many of the CD-ROMs available for the K2500.

Also, check out Patchman music website. They have a huge library of sounds for very good prices.
