I like Limewire too, but it "talks" with gnutella network only. I use "gift" to access fastrack network.

Donny, I find Limewire interface really friendly and intuitive, and it's 100% free of addware/spyware. I would not use the word "good", just pleasant to use. There others that are ok and, very important, free of spyware. I would not use Kazaa 'cause it really screws your OS.

What kind of musical info do you find on the P2P network? Do you find .STY files? or .MID files? Can you find chord charts and sheet music?

Thx, Russ

Mostly pirate stuff... Musically: audio (MP3, etc). Yes, there is music sheet (PDF), and books/e-books. Not a good place for .mid ou .sty . Othe stuff: video, images, software.

For sheet music, a better hint would be google -> Advanced search, with document type=PDF. For chord charts there are other good places in the net (google it!).

We use iMesh occasionally. It used to mess with our OS but it seems to be ok now probably because there is no more spyware etc.

OUt of curiosity, any of you folks that use something different, if you have used iMesh recently how do you think it compares.

It has it's own search and also searches gnutella at the same time if you want.

Scott
