Now don't go thinking that my feelings were hurt because no one responded to my post (lol please). I am curious, though, if anyone gave any consideration to buying the advertised power conditioner for use with a keyboard, mixer, amp, etc.

I was a bit intrigued by its features -- especially the "possibilities" of its 12v trigger system and its computer interface. Imagination got the best of me, and I fancied how one might even computer-control a light show using those features. The sales literature refers to controlling such things as "automated lifts, screens, draperies, etc" (ie. things related to use with a home theater system).

I stopped reading when I saw the price. For $60 I bought a ups which is a surge protector and battery backup.
that is about all I need.
But I did read the post and the ad just had nothing to say about it.

I'm sorry I missed that post, but I have looked into several power conditioners, and unfortunately, while most work well in home situations, the vast majority had significant limitations, particularly when used with higher powered sound systems.

Cheers,

Gary
