For those that have not seen the instructional file assembled by Bill Grosse, I strongly suggest that you visit http://psrtutorial.com/Resources/Articles/floppyrepair.html and read the detailed instructions on how to replace your keyboard's floppy drive. Over the past two years, I have replaced more than a dozen for individuals residing in the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S.. It's not at all difficult, but Bill's detailed instructions make it much easier for those who have never seen the inner workings of a keyboard.

One caveat to Bill's tutorial Gary is he doesn't mention which replacement Drives will work for the PSR "2000". Is/Are they listed in the PSR 2000 Manual? I will have to check the Manual to see if there's a listing for Floppy Drive replacement Drives. Apparently Bill doesn't own a PSR 2000.

The same drives work in both machines--they're identical. Just a standard high density floppy drive that you can buy in any computer store for $15 to $20 U.S.. Nothing special or unique about the drive.
