The CMEs (all of them) don't have memories (registrations) so -whatever modifications you do- are lost as soon as you turn the power off. Speaking strictly of features, it's difficult to beat Oberheim: the MC 2000 and the MC 3000 both have 88 notes with weighed action; the 2000 has 256 memory locations, four sliders for real time control and can transmit on eight zones at a time. The MC 3000 has 1024 memory locations, 8 midi outs and can transmit on 8 zones + 8 aux; furthermore, has a graphic editor to modify dynamic and aftertouch curves and eight sliders to control in real time external parameters.
