Great news for the guys and gals here in the Northeast..
I am putting together a joint effort with our local Piano store[new Roland CK dealer/8 months]. If I can get a group of legitament interested G70 buyers[or potential buyers]..We can set aside a day/evening to demo a G70 , here in Levittown , Pa...
The dealer will bring in a new G70 to show and you will be able to sign up[order ] and purchase a G70 at an introductory price[a great price too].

If necessary, I will front the dealer to bring in the Demo G70...if you guys and gals support this effort..

Since George is too far away..this can be a great thing for us on the east coast..

Email me if you have interest and willing to travel to get your hands on a G70...
I think we would like to have at least 6 people interested to put it all together..

Fran,
So nice to see Levittown mentioned on the Zone. The whole family was just there to celebrate my grandmother's birthday last month

Fran, Every non-landlocked country in the world has an East Coast. I'm guessing you mean the US though, since you are the only guys parochial enough to assume everyone who uses the internet lives there

Yes, we in the US are so parochial we believe that Israel, Syria, Senegal, Ecuador, and Portugal are non-landlocked countries with no East Coasts.

Oops,

You're right Clif, but you forgot Peru, Morroco, Namibia, Kazakhstan and Wales to mention just a few. I guess arranger-seekers in these countries will just have to visit George then.

Ah. I miss the good old days when most of the map of the world was painted red - made geography so much simpler.

I thought "PA" was a good hint....surely everyone knows where Pennsylvania is!!
Also the mention of George on the west coast, was another hint..
Besides , so what,,,,so it takes a little longer for the out of area people to get here...everyone is welcomed[as long as we get enough people willing to come to Levittown]..

Yes you would assume this - that was the point. And indeed of course I knew where you meant. It just amazing that Americans assume everyone else knows about their country but meanwhile 80% of USA college graduates can't name the countries bordering their own!

When I was in the US recently I read the NY Times to discover that apparently nothing at all had happened in the UK that day. In all of Europe in fact only France had a newsworthy item. Hmm.

And before you accuse me of 'yank bashing' - I was only having a gentle tease
Besides, I married one.

Give us a break. Just where did you get the statistic that 80 percent of U.S. college graduates can't name the countries bordering the United States? I teach at a college and I would say don't believe everything you hear.

Besides you Brits are still angry that you lost 2 wars to us. You already got even. You exported British Leyland cars and Lucas electrical systems to us.

Fran,

I'd like to see one, but not buy one. Does that count? BTW - where is this new store and who is the owner?...just curious, because the store I used to buy my Roland CK stuff from no longer answers the phone.

Tim, it is the Piano Shope on Woodborne Road in Levittown, Pa. Steve is one of the owners.
They have been there for at least 7 years, but just became a Roland CK dealer eight months ago..

Now I would have just LOVED to have married a "gentle tease" but instead I got a dragon.
