Here are a few songs I recorded using the Tyros 2.

Where Do I Begin (theme from “Love Story”) uses the piano ballad style and the melody uses the live grand piano and sweet flute. A Closer Walk uses the Classic Big Band Style and an acoustic accordion for the melody. Never on Sunday uses the sweet mandolin and an accordion.

I did the recording using Sonar Home Studio with an M Audio firewire interface. To record the accordion I used a Samson CL7 Studio condenser microphone.

Jim,
I played all three songs on my Yamaha HS50M studio monitors at my store and they sound great. The keyboard styles sound very "live" and your accordion playing, especially on Never On Sunday, along with the Tyros2's Mandolin sounds great. I felt like I was in Venice again!
Bravo!

JimP. I concur with George. I can hear a strong European influence in your playing style. Fresh twist (to my ears) european accordion style version of the southern gospel classic: "Closer Walk With Thee". I especially appreciate the diversity of songs & playing styles shared by fellow forum members. Good classic stuff. - Scott

I really appreciate you doing some traditional music, particularly a big-band style. Most musicians are composing new-age, electronica, technical synth stuff which doesn't give me an idea how the instrument really sounds since I don't have an interest in those types of sounds.

I wanna hear brass sections, orchestras, saxes, trumpets, etc..

I'll have a listen when I get home from work. Thanks.

Hey there, neighbor... just picked up 'closer walk'... very well done. I'll catch the others soon. Glad to see you're spending more time on the important things.

Thanks for the comments. I agree with Scott that the forum members have a terrific diversity of songs and styles. I always enjoy listening to other members contributions.

Glenn, we should get together soon. I would like to try your SD-1 plus (expanded by AJ) and show you the Tyros 2.
