V-stand looks like an upsidedown something...
coment about Ultimate Apex: there`s no place to put a sustain pedal, I had to deal with it.

That new Ultimate V stand looks HUGE and bulky too. In the case, it looks as big as a kb!

Hmmm... both Ultimate and Roland stands look the same to me. Could it be that Roland is buying their stands from Ultimate and putting their logo on it??

It is hard to believe that Ultimate would let anyone else make same looking design. Look at their Apex stands, no other company offers a similar design.

Wow.... that look like the crappiest design ever... I cant tell from the photo, but it looks like the roland vertical bars telescope like a tripod, each leg adjusts individually, making it very difficult to make it exactly even.

And another thng is, where does all the weight go?... Right on the lover part of the V. Where is the lowest part of the V? Why right where the smallest part of the horizontal V! Thus making it very very easily to tip backwards at an angle. I have never seen or tried this stand before, but just lok at the pics, i cant even imagin it working for a tenth of the cost.

Phil
