5 of the new model UB1002FX mixers were shipped from Behringer in Washington State to my store in California on the 29th of June. I should have them by Monday or if not, Wednesday of next week. I will be out of town from Wednesday the 5th of July till Monday, the 10th of July. It's the first vacation for me in 4 years! My wife and I are visited friends in The Denver, Co. area. The store will be open, my son John will be running things. You can call him at 818-881-5566 if you are interested in the mixer and he can handle the shipping and sale.

I've just purchased a UB1002 (not the FX version) and that works fine, and is very compact. 2 mic, 4 stereo and also tape in. Only the Mic's have eq, and also input gain trim pot. The stereo's just have a +4/-10 level switch, and no EQ. All channels have a post-fade FX send pot.

The lack of EQ on the stereos doesn't bother me because I've got EQ in my PSR3000 and MU80 anyway.

I'm also now using a UB1222FX model for main PA; I think the FX unit is similar to that fitted to the UB1002FX. There's a decent selection of effects although a review I've read suggests that the effects on the newer XENYX verions are more "usable" for mainline use (i.e. vocals), however I've found a reverb that suits me so I'm happy anyway.

Yes the UB802 has LO, MID and HI EQ, on all channels plus other gizmos I will never use.

Steve, I am using the Alesis 6FX and it works really well ...
I played a gig where all the A-V stuff was supplied by the hotel (of course I had mine in the car just in case) ... they gave me the Mackie 1202 and a couple of EON 15's ... really nice ... the Mackie is a real nice mixer, but obviously quite diffent in price ...
good luck with whichever ...
