could a hard drive be fitted inside the triton and if not does that mean that i would have to carry an external one with me every time i go on stage.

No, there is no provision for an internal hard drive. You need the scsi option and an external drive.

I will be checking out the new ORB drives which allow you to store 2.2 gig of data on a cartridge! Apparantly even larger amounts will be able to be stored later on. This works well with the Triton (so I have been told).
