You do anything special for New Year's Eve to make it more fun than usual or business as usual?

One year I spotlighted a different decade each hour. Started with the 40's, 50s, 60's and ended with the disco 70's/80's. Went over well, and each hour I changed my clothes to fit the era!

UD ... I've done similar stuff with the music, but not the change of clothes ...that's quite an effort ... where are the pix?

Never took any pictures, but it was no big deal either - Suit and fadora, HS letter sweater, open vest with fringes, and silky shirt with puffy sleeves and HUGE medalion around the neck!(silly, I know)

Somebody told me to put up different clocks from around the world and have drink specials every hour for when it strikes midnight at those various places. Heck with that, good idea, but you could just bring one clock and stick different signs on it for different time zones and keep it on midnight hour. Hold it up and say "It's midnight in Philly (11pm here), so let's celebrate with a shot of Early Times." My brother would like that. I think it's the cheapest whiskey there is.

These days, my NYE clients are older, less crazy, yet more fun, with less booze. Win - Win - Win !
This years crowd will be 50-80yr olds that all live in the same complex, many of them are retired, and just want to have some fun. No amature drinking hour, no crazy head bangers...just good music and good people......and no silly outfits.
Me in a tux ..... 3k, laptop, Bose ...... life is good.
Happy new year!
