I use an 03R/W in my studio set-up, primarily for its drum sounds which are adequate (until I can afford to pick up an Alesis DM Pro). However, when I try to process the drums through independant outs (kick to L/A, Snare to R/B, remainder of drums panned to C & D) I invariably get unwanted drums coming out of the A & B outputs. I've contacted Korg Support directly on this matter but if the specific product specialist is not on duty at the time you call, its hit and miss (in my case - miss). Assuming that other Korg modules function the same, has anyone achieved this type of independant drum separation? If so, I'd love to know how you did it. Thanx, Kent Merlin.

I don't have an answer to the question in your post, but I do have some 03R/W ROM cards for sale.... didn't know if you were interested, but I thought I would mention it. Thanks, Thomas

The 'reverb tail' of a drum sound panned to A will be audible out of B, so you should not use a reverb program.

Sounds panned to C&D will be audible through A&B if the PAN 3 and PAN 4 parameters are not set to 'OFF'.

If you wish to process the C&D panned sounds, use the PARALLEL effects algorithm.
