I use my KB with a split point at B2/C3 an a ON BASS setting 90% of the time.

1. How can I have this setting at pop up when switching the KB on?

Amelius, Once you have configured the set-up as you would like it. I suggest you save it in Music Database with a name like SET-UP 1. Select this SET-UP 1 after switching on next time, this should work.
Some keyboards default to how it was left when switching off, others tend to default to full keyboard piano.

Hope this helps a little. Graham UK

Thanks for your help, Graham.

I would like to avoid having to press memory setups when switching on. I tried already with registration memories, but this set up changes when I have to use other set-ups (different voices, stys etc)My 9K goes to full piano set up when switched on. Can this be changed in any way to user setup?

Thank you again.

Amelio,
BOY are you lazy! One quick push of a button to configure the board to your liking is too much? Maybe someone from Yamaha can come to your place before you want to play and turn it on for you....then set it all up so you don't have to exert yourself.
I'm really sorry to sound cruel - this is all in jest
I just think it sounds like such an easy workaround to get what you want. These keyboards are ALL about buttons !

U/D,

I guess you are right...
...but there are other KBs that maintain your last set-up when you turn power on again.

ON the subject of the Yammy person coming to my place... are there nice girls working at Yamaha... (just having a laugh at myself!)

Ciao.

Yep... I see both sides of this one. I hated the fact that I always had to reset the split point on my Roland every time I turned it on. And that the Disk List button ALWAYS shows Midi's first, when I always want Styles! What a stupid "Intelligent Arranger" - it couldn't even remember the most basic things!
But, eventually I got used to the fact that powering on the Roland is a 3 button-pushing deal. That's the way it goes...

Did you try saving it to your startup configuration? You do this by setting up your keyboard, then press the "A" button at the top left side of your keyboard screen. You'll be asked if you want to save your setup . . . so on. I'm not at my keyboard now, so I can't do it and give you a screen by screen sequence to follow but this should work.
