I was considering the SD1 but I'm now a little scared about what I've read about the SD1 problems like the sampler... The 9000PRO has less bugs then the SD1?...
The sampler does allow you to .wav sync . This is something that the VA76 or 9000pro can not do . This is improtant . I have sang harmonized voice samples and looped them with a style . What about the "fell" of the keys on these 3 keyboards? Can anyone please tell me the real differences?...
The SD1 has just as good if not better key feel .
I really need some help please...
Thanks. Here are a few things about the SD1 that set it apart from the Roland + Yamaha . 6 gig hard drive out of the box . The hard drive is used very effectively for storing styles , sounds , midi sequences and wav files . YOu can edit sounds , volumne levels, effects , transposition and panning right on the hard drive while the sequence plays back . 48 meg's dedicated to the sound ROM . Vocal kit . Ability to layer 4 sounds together and split the keyboard 4 times . Aftertouch + portamento easily accessable . No OS for SD1 will be released that will incorporates DRUM REMIX feature and newer styles . These are just some of the reason's I have always liked Ketron products . Luis, no arranger is perfect; the only way to attain perfection is to buy more than one, because each one has pros and cons.
(That's why I have an SD1, a VA7 and am planning to buy a 9000 pro...)
(Okay, better get going now...)

Sorry, but you really wrote that "no" OS for SD1 will be released with drum remix and more styles or would your write that a "new" os will be released?... I'm really curious... By the way, can you please tell me anything about the "fell" of the keys on each keyboard? What's the keyboard that fells more closely to piano?... I've a VA-3 and I really hate the poor feel of the keys but I also have a roland XV88, with piano action, and it's really the best for me... Anyone can help?... Luis, OS 4.0 for the SD1 should be released within one month and should include a lot of new features, so better wait a little more. Re. keys feel: neither the SD1 nor the 9000 pro have a piano-like action; the choice is a matter of taste, because the keys are also shaped differently, so nobody except you can tell which one is better. Maybe, if you could explain what kind of music you play or what your needs are we could help you more with your choice.

I'm pretty fussy about key feel, and I love a good, solid feeling under my fingers. The three kb's mentioned are different, but all share a strong, solid feel. The VA76 has the longest keys (I don't like that), but the pressure feel is better than average. The 9kpro has the same keys as the TritonPro uses, in case you've played that model. I like the 9kpro keys alot - they take alot of "digging in" and handle it well. They just MAY be the loudest "mechanical" action of the 3, in case you record in a studio environment with live mics ..... just a FYI. The SD1 has similar, but a bit smoother key action than the Yamaha. Matter of taste. Both are good - both are different, in their own way.
NONE of these three even remotely fells like a piano action. NONE of them....so please don't kid yourself. Is that what you are trying to find out? They are ALL synth/organ feel, but they ARE among the best feeling choices out there today.

Exactly.
