...for talent. In the battle over whose machine is best, this video should go a long way towards proving that it's not the machine nearly so much as the person behind it. I hope Captain Russ isn't the only one here who can appreciate this. Who would ever believe you could get this out of a drum machine. Simply amazing. Make sure you watch it all the way through, the best part is towards the end.

Hot Damn! See this is why I'm always talking about using drum machines. That's what so cool about them. On the good ones you can use a pedal to control hi-hat, bass, or other parts. (trick is to get a drum machine with LARGE pads).

This guy has to be one of the best drum machine drummers I've seen to date. Hopefully others will watch this video and see the power and versatility in them.

That was amazing. Understand why you said to listen right till the end. Sounded like a real drum kit to me.

Thanks, Chas...lets also "give it up" for that bass player...Victor Wooten better watch out!

You're right...it's the talent That matters. Plus, talented people are the least threatened, so they're the nicest people. It's worth it to go see Victor. He sits at the end of the stage after each concert and talks to anyone who wants a little of his time. Ray Brown was the same way.

I recently saw Charlie Hunter do a 5 minute solo as an encore on a tamborine!

WOW!

That's because THEY are not standing around arguing about who has the best "tambourine" .
