I have them both in my store. They are not big sellers, but they are nice keyboards. I tend to sell these to my customers that want less options and less "in your face" kind of styles.

Hi Geo -
Are you referring to the newer model (s)? How does it stack up against the VA serires? - almost as good? And how much for the 5 or 7?
Thanks,
zuki

Hi!

I bought a Roland EXR-7s last week. It is my first keyboard so I cannot really compare it to other models. I used to play organ, paused for several years and was looking for an arranger keyboard with 76 keys.

I tried a couple at my local keyboard shop, they mainly had Roland and Yamaha. The one I liked best was the Roland G-70 which was way out of my price range. So I decided for the new Roland EXR-7s for 800 €. For my usage and requirements it was the best deal and I like its sounds and features.

Regards, Tanja

Zuki,
What newer model are you asking about? As far as I know there is only 1 EXR3, 1 EXR5 and 1 EXR7. If there are newer versions, I've not been told about them. All three are good keyboards between $400.00 and $900.00. They have many sounds from the VA series but it's the G70 which is more similar to the VA76. The new GW7 looks more like a EXR keyboard but has a slightly more pro look and feel.

George -

The new EXR model is the EXRs. I believe it is available in Europe for now (unless I am just dreaming)

Imagium -

You are you fortunate enough to even find a G-70 to trial - certainly none around the Midwest.

I started looking for a keyboard right after the Musikmesse Frankfurt. When I went to my local keyboard shop here in Germany mid of April they already had a G-70 available. The new EXR-3/5/7s series is shipping since about two weeks here.
