Hi everyone!
As most of you know, I'm blind as a bat and can only read user manuals if I'm able to scan them.

I am trying to change sustain foot switch polarity on my Motif from "+" to "-".
Most synths give you that option.
However, after going through pages and pages of Utility mode of the MOtif I was unable to find it.

So here's my cry for help to all the MOtif users:
Please help! SOmebody!

Sorry Ed, This is not a feature of the Motif.

Yup, you're right. Yamaha confirmed. TUrns out only Korg , Technics and some ROland keyboards have changeable polarity for their pedal jacks.

Doesn't your pedal have a polarity switch. I have two pedals and they both have +/- switches.

I bought the SP-2 Universal Sustain Pedal by M-Audio from Guitar Center for $29.95. It has a polarity switch and works very well. The build quality, function and looks are better than the Fatar VFP 1/25 Sustain Pedal. Give this a try.

UNfortunately my pedal doesn't have it's own polarity switch. M-Audio one sounds nice though. I need to get a better pedal anyway.
