If the man at Yamaha was wrong about there being flash ram available for styles, then he might also be wrong about there being direct from floppy style play. That feature is not written in any of the specs.

I'm thinking of buying the PSR 9000 now, but I'm wondering whether I can physically lift it!

I have 2 Prs9000 units. I gig with them every day. They are not that heavy to move around at all. I think alot of people are passing by a great keyboard by worrying about the weight. My old Mackie 450's and Jbl speakers weighed more then the 9k keyboard so do most KB amps. I use a Rok-n-Roller cart to transport my speakers with the 9k & X stand on top into the gig and then open my X stand and only have to lift the 9k maybe 6 inches onto the stand, thats it!!
