hello everyone, lm new to the group but maybe someone can help me.
lve just bought a dr 880 drum machine, l love the sounds it makes, the problem is the amount of storage it has, 30,000 notes.
l use drum and bass sequences created in cakewalk, saved as midifiles, which lmwould like to store as songs in the memory of the dr 880, but 30,000 notes equates to 10 or 12 songs only in this format. l like my arrangments very much and would like to continue using them, and to store them in the dr 880, can anyone suggest a way of increasing the memory of the drum machine,
it has a usb port for hooking up to a pc, which is how the midi info is up loaded.
lm afraid lm not very technically minded but any help would really be appreciated
thanks

if it doen't have on board storage (eg-SM card)you can't.even so without direct play feature you have to load it.either use a laptop and slave your 880 or usb file trasfer(again 3*,000) notes basically.
