I would like to buy an arranger after 10 years with a Korg M1. I have the choice between a KN 1600 and a PSR 740 but i don't know exactly what are the differnces between this two ones.
Someone can help me please ?

I'd go for the PSR740, it's an awesome keyboard for the money and you will love it. Take a look at the review on my site and try out some of the samples.

Thks for your proposition but i'm already engaged with a store, it's the reason why i have the choice btwn the KN 1600 and the PSR 740.
Anyway you're very lucky to have this price as i can only find the EM-2000 at least at 2100 USD here in France.

Go with the pse740-it seems that Yamaha is a better standard, and supported device. I don't like the way Technics supports their equipment. You can even go to the Yamaha website right now and download the manual for the PSR740. Roland, Korg, Casio, Solton and Technics don't let you do that. Also, Yamaha has more sounds and lots of styles available for free over the internet. The Roland EM2000 does have a built in Zip drive but from what I have read from reviewers of it the EM2000 is difficult to operate compaired to the PSR740. I wish Roland had their Manuals online for download-but since they don't I bought a Yamaha.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion as regard to why the buy a certain brand, modell of a keyboard. But I have never lauhged so hard about this reason:

An on-line manual is a factor in my choosing what to purchse as well. Of course, I would not buy an inferior product just because of the availability of an online manual. But reading the manual gives some important information that you cannot get any other way. Before online manuals, I would try to borrow a manual and copy it and study it. The bottom line is that I am more likely to buy a product when I know what it can and what it cannot do.

At first glance having manuals not available on line does seem like poor reason not to select the keyboard.

However, on the grander scheme of things, it is one of the indications of the manufacturer's commitment to customer support. I believe, that Yamaha's is a lot better than Roland's, despite some of the misgivings expressed in this forum about them.

So that reason is not entirely invalid.

Like I said I needed to laugh (still do). However, of course I know what was meant: before buying a keyboard you should be able to read the manual so you know all the functions. But if its not online you can copy it from a local dealer.
