I am truly enjoying my 2100, it's a fun keyboard. And, --- I sold my Tyros after having it for a few months. But then again I almost remarried my first wife. Ouch!

Question
After doing a search in the music finder, how does one clear that search without losing the rest of the music finder?

Thanks for your help, John C.

Clearing the search field(s) and depressing Start Search returns all entries.

To get back to all the entries without distroying the search, use Back to move to the All tab.

John,

If you want to clear the MFD's search area, merely press the "I" button (Search #1) on the right side of the screen, now press the "D" button on the left side of the screen and tab over to OTHER. Press the "E" button and tab over to SEARCH #1, then press the top of the #8 button on the lower right side of the screen (START SEARCH) and the screen will clear. This has no impact on the Favorites page or All page.

Hope this is of some help,

Gary

After doing a search, to go back to the full listing (without clearing the search) use the Back/Next buttons above the screen area (the ones that you use to select media, etc) and go reom the search tab to the All tab.

Regards,

Michael

If you like the 2100, you're gonna' love the 3000 twice as much.

If money isn't an object, go for the Tyros. The keyboards have beem compared here over and over, but a few differences are:

3000: Better USB with thumb-drive cabability. Built-in speakers.
I'm sure there are some others advantages but I can't think of any.

Tyros: Better keys. Lighted buttons, huge color tilting display. Hard drive. More factory styles. More sounds. More polyphony. More sound memory. Aftertouch. Dedicated buttons for Vocal Harmony, Mic Settings, DSP on-off. Vocal Harmony on-off button. Mic adjustment on front. Three sounds available on right hand. Three assignable footswitch inputs. Assignable sub-outs.
Again, I'm sure I'm leaving some things off this list also.
