Neils, as usual, your G70 song demos really shine. Realistically Dynamic, especially on "When The Saints Go Marching In". I also enjoyed your other contemporary sounding song. Which G70 OS version did you use when recording these, and how much tweaking of G70 sounds did you do? As I'm sure you remember, my biggest beef with the G70 when I auditioned it, was that the preset sounds were overly bathed in reverb. Either you removed this excess reverb, or a later subsequent update has finally addressed and solved the problem.

I'm really anxious now to checkout the latest OS version of the Roland G70 at NAMM next week, and will of course post a NAMM report when I get back as well.

Thanks again for sharing. Impressive work ! - Scott

Hi Scott

Thanks for your comments.

The reverb problem was solved with OS2.0.
I normally use about 5 minutes when I tweak a style. Its very easy with the Makeup Tools.

Looking forevard to your NAMM report.

Regards Niels

hmmmm . . . No other comments? Hope others here will 'take the time' to listen to Neils songs performed by him on his G70, and are as impressed as I was with them. - Scott

Just gave a listen to 'Saints'... very good and very REFRESHING! It's been awhile since I've heard anything other than a Yamaha or Ketron. Very energetic and live sound. Thanks for sharing.

AHHH DIXIE LAND. LOVE IT.
the first band I ever played in was a Dixie Land band when I was still playing trumpet. I still love to play it on the keyboards. It still makes up a lot of my keyboard style of playing
Thanks for sharing your work on the G 70,
Best to you and yours,
Bebop
