You must be using a different pair of 32-Cs than DNJ, DonM and I have been using--our work fantastic, crystal clear, crisp sounds and lightweight. Of course, the sound coming out of the speaker is cannot be any better than the sound going in. Is it possible that your input device was at fault?

I imported a 41c about 2 years ago - it really is a fantastic amp. I play in a nine piece Soul / RnB outfit, and it has no problems at all keeping up with Horns, Drums, Guitar et al. Sound quality is spot on.
Tony Barbetta dealt with the mods required (transformer etc.) very professionally (he would not ship it until he had exhaustively tested the mods), so delivery was a little longer than I expected. However it was very definately worth the wait. Cost about £650.00 inc. import taxes.

Nigel,
For what it's worth ...recently I decided like you to check out Barbetta in europe...after hearing from Gary (Travlin'easy) that they were a good unit.

I've had exactly the same experience...no response whatso ever to 4 e-mails....sorry Gary...it doesn't say much for barbetta's organisation or interest in business..it really doesn't take much to respond to a simople enquiry...just good manners.

LeoD

Incidentally I also have had same experience with Yamaha....tried 4 times on their Global site...no response...so maybe it is the norm for these guys ..not to bother..unless there is some direct pay-off for them.

Also with Mackie...who quote a link on their main US site for Mackie UK...except the UK site they quote..doesn't exist.

LeoD...at least we talk to one another.
