I am enjoying my PSR3000 having been able to produce some reasonable music.
At least the family have not been so critical.
The next step I would like to take is to set up to play songs from Band In a Box through
the midi cables.
I have endeavoured to follow the instructions
in the manual but end up confused.
Could someone help.

If your computer has a USB port, you can hook up the 3000 using a USB 2.0-A to USB 2.0-B cable. However, you must install the midi driver for your particular version of windows. The driver is on the CD that came with the keyboard, and the installation instructions are in the CD Manual--not the regular instruction manual. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully, step by step, and everything will work just fine. Then when you open Band In A Box, you must select the USB 1.0 under the midi devices option and you're ready to begin making great midi files. We'll be looking forward to hearing some of your work.

Good Luck,

Gary
