They do! I'm using 10-pound Ketron Midjay and a 7-pound Edirol controller.

on the tyros 2 there is a button next to the auto accm that lets you change variations and not the parts, and still you can use the part setup buttons to go to different part setups or pick out the one/ones you want that shown on screen.
