I use the Apex with standard arms and it the Technics KN7000(39lbs)and 16" deep without and instability while gigging.

Originally posted by Dnj: Luis, Email Scott Yee he has one for Sale. I've actually dedcided to keep my Ultimate Support Apex Stand (at least for now). I continue to aprreciate it for its impressively sleek onstage appearence, especially complimentary with the Tyros. I myself have found no problems with stability when performing. I primarily reserve the Apex stand for larger venue stage performance, as for the daily quick gigs, it's more of a hassle to transport than my Quicklok stand is. I find the Apex offers the most impressive pro presentation. My main critism with the Apex is that, because I rely on using a 4 pedal foot controler box unit, it's not possible to solidly position the foot pedal unit so it can be anchored and secured (perpendicular to my feet) and to the stand's legs (to keep it from sliding). The other thing with this stand, is that, to avoid your head being obscured (from the audience) by the center column, one must be either standing, or seated on an elevated stool, when performing. Scott
