Guys-

Work has begun on my new website...The URL is
www.billcorfield.com

Everyone is welcome to visit the site and post any comments, suggestions, etc. you wish.

Please understand its not finished by any means. We've pretty much got the basic structure laid out. We'll be adding audio samples, photos as well as other content in the various links. I'd also like to add a paypal button, counter, guest book, etc...

I'm especially looking for feedback on my calendar. June, July and December are completed...if you're looking for finished months to review.

Enjoy!

Bill in Dayton

Hi Bill
Re. your new site - So far SO good!
First reaction favourable, not too much padding and easy to read.
Suggest perhaps a link back to the first page somewhere on each page.
Like the Calendar. How about a link from each entry to a separate page which gives fuller details of what each gig is etc,?
Carry on caring
cheers

Hi Bill in Dayton,
Your site looks very elegant and informative. My first impression is very good.
All of my remarks are about the calendar pages.
One could hesitate a long time if he/she could click on the text in the day-boxes to check if it is a link to another page that describes the event.
I think it would be better if you underlined those links. In this way you'd make absolutely clear that the text is a link to another page.

I suggest that you change the layout of the calendar pages to that of the main page.

Why some events have asterisk (*) in front?

Best regards,
George V

Guys-

Thanks for the feedback...

Eddie-YES, a link back to the homepage is on my to-do list...If you click on the venue listed for each date, you ARE taken to a different page with more details..

Scott-Thanks for the kind words...

George-We'll be adding some prompting text that guides the user to click on the venue for more information..

The astericks were a way to clearly indicate when I played at more than one place on a given date.

The layout arount the calendar is to be dressed up as I'm told....

Thanks again-

Bill in Dayton

Hi Bill,

Your new website design looks very impressive & professional. The only minor suggestion I might make would be on the "Bill Corfield Band" page.

I suggest removing altogether, the word: 'foreground' following 'Piano' (after your name), and change the word from 'background' to 'backup' following the word 'Vocals' after Art Nitsch's name.

Scott

I like it because its not too busy. All the info i would need is there. Mine is too busy and I plan to pare it down when I have time. Your site tells them what they need to do to book you and gives them an idea of who and what u r. A video of you performing would be great. I have a video of a bunch of people dancing at one of my shows on my page and I have drawn several customers from it.
Again, I like it.
