It seems like when you move closer to the TV the picture gets bigger . It seems to have a bigger view than a the normal 27inch TV .

Oh .....It was tagged at $399.99 . It rang up 10% less !

WOW !Is yours one of those new $$$$$ Plasma TVs that are super light & slim and can hang on your wall like a pic?

Yep, I got a flat screen TV too, but it's a CRT type (abeit heavy), a 36 inch Sony XBR Trinitron. I LOVE it because you can view it from all angles. - Scott

this is why they came up with plasma. it can come in bigger size than 36" and 90% less deepness than the XBR. have you seen how deep the 40" sony XBR?

There are some 50" plasma that cost more - and they are not marketed for home use.
Tha is very definitely for commercial use - but yeah.... w-a-a-y-y KOOL !!
