Hi

A new G-70 demo. Its my rendition of "Together in electric dreams". Its not 100% like the original. Im using the internal style "Electro Rock" with some sounds from the SRX-07 expansion board.
You can find it at http://www.selskabsmusikeren.dk

Regards
Niels

Hi Niels,
You have a great lively rendition of "Together In Electric Dreams". I've downloaded and listen to your song using iTunes in my PC. Did you use any PC software together with the Roland G70 when recording it? Hope you will post another demo song of Roland G70 in future.
From Jessie

Hi Jessie

Im using Cubase SX for my recordings. In the demo Im using 2 tracks. One for the music/choir and one for the lead vocal.

Im planing to make more demos with vocals in the near future. You can find them on the G-70 userclub Denmark.

Best Regards
Niels

That's a very nice piece of work. It sounds so European, and I mean that in the best possible sense - it has that ambience about it. A bit like Royskopp in a way.

I haven't heard that song before and I was hoping it was your own composition as it has a very 'hit' sound about it. Keep up the good work.

BTW: Who recorded the original?

Ah! Just googled it and found it was Georgio Moroder - that's funny because an old friend of mine, Pete Bellotte, wrote a number of Donna Summer hits with him. I just had a quick listen to a clip from the original and, tell you what, I liked yours a whole lot better!

Nice work........
I love that 80's POP sound. This tune would make a good Theme song for TV sitcom also...
G70 sounds great too....thanx for sharing your work with us.

Niels,
Are your lead vocals going through the G70 and are the effects, delay....reverb etc. from the G70?
If so I am very impressed by the quality, sounds much better than some outboard gear I have used.

Very nice rendition of the song btw (and I find it better that it is not 100% like the original....It is 100% Niels )

I am in the market to buy a new board (hopefully this weekend) and I am undecided between the G70 and the PA1x. My local dealer has both in stock so I will get a chance to play them both side by side at the weekend. (Can't wait!)
Best wishes
Tony
