can you tell me why the topics shown go from June 24 to June 25, and if I go back past this is jumps back to April and everything else between april and june 24 are missing. Should I trash the old bookmarked version which still reads error, or leave it for awhile? George Kaye

Hi George, Go down a few postings and pick up Nigel's posting. ( SO QUIET I CAN HEAR AN ECHO IN HERE ect. ect.) That should answer some of your question. The old bookmark version if you have it in favorites delete it it won't work any more. You'll have to re-add it to your favorites. Glad your back , Nobby

Good to see you found the BBS again George. The owners of the server where it was being hosted suddenly freaked out about resources it was using and not only pulled it offline but cut my access to the account. I had to revert to a version of the BBS from about 2 months ago in order to bring the forums back up as quickly as possible. I did hve a recent backup but the zip turned out to be corrupt .... wouldn't you guess ... Anyway despite the loss of recent postings everything is at least working again, and problems like we had had recently on the BBS should cease and access speed should be much better.
So that's what happened while you were away George. Inconvenient now, but probably better for the BBS to be here at Synth Zone. And yes disgard old URLs and bookmark this new one.
