Dave, I'm using a 200 watt mono Carvin head and two 12" carvin cabinets with horns.

Will lining out of the head into a Polytone Mini-Brute bass amplifier be useful as a sub? The amp has a built-in, but non-adjustable crossover. Could I reduce the high end eq and get the job done? Since I already have the Mini-Brute, I'm just trying to save some bucks. It's also small and doesn't weigh a lot.

Appreciate the help...

I'm not UD, but that should work just fine.
You shouldn't have to reduce the high e.q. though. The crossover takes it out.

Thanks, Don, I'll try it! I'll have to admit that I was generally satisfied with just using the PA and I'm a basss player, so bass tone and volume is important to me. Hopefully, I larned something useful today.

Thanks,

Russ
