My verdict:

I just checked out the samples - go here and click audio: http://www.rolandus.com/products/productdetails.aspx?ObjectId=825&ParentId=18

I think the Roland has a great LIVE sound which is often missing from Yamaha (including the T2). I especially liked the piano and drums on this machine. Unfortunately Yamaha really has to pick up its socks in these two areas. (You would figure that a keyboard which is kind of an emulation of a piano, would have a whole host of great piano sounds to choose from - but alas this is something all the companies could improve on.)

However, the Yamaha guitars and brass beats the Roland hands down - there not even competition here as you can hear for yourself.

I beg you pardon, my grandsons were beautiful from the moment they were born.

ugly?
may not be on my taste, but ugly?
different? yes. and i think that's good. why every keyboard should look like yamaha?

on the other hand, i like very much E60 design. i think is really nice and the colour combination is right.

Did anyone actually READ the article? It doesn't appear that this reviewer has even SEEN an E80, yet alone touched one. I guess that reading the product literature is all the research one needs to do to make oneself into an expert........

(And best of luck getting a gig with an SH-201 )
